Arrogance to Ruthlessness It's Friday. Possibly one of the most important days of my life, not just because of the trial because it's the first time since I've seen my pathetic droog, Sett since the 'Accident'. With my new 'Legal Advisor', Jenn Copelin I was destined to be dismissed a free man; but how would Ryan feel? Knowing I intentionally killed Heather for vengeance knowing that I will never lose, never be defeated invulnerable so to say. Perhaps my arrogance is shielding me from the truth; well, this trial will determine that once and for all. Join me, won't you? (I wasn't let home the entire week; I had to stay in that cell, although I had daily visits from my lawyer to discuss certain things with the trial. It was around 12:30 PM, right after lunch. I settled with pork and beans with a bottle of water; unsensational meal before the trial. I should be eating my usual, boiled turkey with a side of shrimp stuffed with crab. It wasn't long after I had eaten that horrid meal before the guard came back to the cell which I relaxed on my bed in.) Guard: Mr. Starr, you gotta get ready for your trial your sister brought you a suit, so let's go change. (This old man is obviously sick of his work; perhaps if he would just retire he could watch old episodes of The Andy Griffith show and point out where his career went wrong, however that was hardly my problem today. After traveling down the hall, the same hall I had traveled down all week, I was led to a stall inside the bathroom where I was given my black suit. I searched around at the clothes, when I suddenly realized something.) Danny Starr: Where the hell is my belt? I'm going to look mentally handicapped in that court! Guard: Well, you WERE in an asylum. (I could have ripped his throat out with that previous statement, but I remembered today was not the best day for that type of action. I got dressed to the best quality I was given, and handed the guard my old clothes.) Guard: I have to baby-sit you outside until your lawyer gets here. (I rolled by eyes at his attitude, and shortly there-after he led me out in front of the Police Department to the side of the sidewalk. I stood there still, annoyed by the old man's constant coughing, trying to avoid it. It wasn't long after that a nice gold Lexus pulled up next to us. The windows were gray, and it's almost impossible for see through their darkness, however, the inside is a quite different story looking out. Suddenly, the passenger side door opens slowly; as It does, I see a hunched over Jenn Copelin still connecting her hand to the door handle. She looks up at me and smirks, and I do the same before climbing in. I didn't even bother saying goodbye to the guard, he hadn't even noticed I left.) Danny Starr: Are you ready, Jenn? Jenn Copelin: Oh, I am are you? You seem nervous. (She could tell I was nervous.) Danny Starr: Quite this is a big deal. I could go to jail for a while for this one. Jenn Copelin: Why don't I help you not be nervous you really need it. (I could not believe she was driving while unzipping my pants with her free hand. She slips it in, as I stood stunned.) Danny Starr: Hey, maybe this WILL work (She talks normal as if she didn't even know what she was doing to me.) Jenn Copelin: Don't worry about this, Danny. I won't let you go to jail for that whore she deserved it. (I was a little confused on what exactly she had against Heather; I was still regretting it slightly however, I took my mind off of it while I continued to talk with her.)
(We pulled up to the court after a few minutes, and by that time, her work was done, and my pants were zipped back up. We both climbed out of the Lexus to be swarmed with, what seemed like, a million sharp flashes into our eyes. The media had found out about this tragedy, which was my worst fear. It made my chances of winning worse; Television probably showed the footage of me breaking Heather's neck several times, putting the thought into everyone's mind that this was intentional. As Jenn and I escaped through the crowd with camera, we made our way up the steps leading towards the entrance of the court. I could hear talking behind me; I must have heard my name a dozen times in one minute. We must have just made it on time, because they sent us right to the courtroom. We walked down the aisle, getting a dirty look from everyone on the one side of the court room. That's when I saw, Ryan he saw me at the exact time, and jumped out of his seat.) Sett: YOU SON OF A BITCH! I'LL KILL YOU! (I didn't fire back with anything; I really didn't have time to even think by the time I had taken in everything he said, two police offers were blocking both of us from confrontation. I calmly take a seat on the defendant side, surely away from Sett, without saying a word. Jenn sits next to me, then proceeds to lean in.) Jenn Copelin: That is going to make you look good to the jury. You didn't say anything or even try to get to him. (I didn't have the chance to, but whatever helps me get out of this.) Danny Starr: I killed his girlfriend the only thing he has a reason to live for Jenn Copelin: The public looks at you as ruthless; when you didn't try to retaliate, they aren't sure what you're thinking. You could be playing them like we are, or you could actually be remorseful which I will be disappointed if you are. (Jenn has turned vicious immoral evil sadistic and I love it. It wasn't long before the usual happened: The judge comes out, we all stand, sit back down and it starts. What a cliché. I could have come 20 minutes late and know exactly what was going on. Before I knew it, I was called to the stand; I did the usual once again, and raised my right hand even though I knew I was going to lie under oath anyway. After taking a seat next to the judge; I hadn't caught his name, I was too busy admiring my lawyer. Jenn Came towards me, and began asking questions about the murder.) Jenn Copelin: Now Mr. Starr, explain to the jury why you did what you did to Heather. Danny Starr: Well (I looked down at Sett who was staring at me with fire in his eyes, and continued to stare back into them.) Danny Starr: It was originally staged like an angle. I was told to pile drive her, and she was supposed to be safe. However, a freak accident caused her to slip and proceed to fall down head first breaking her neck, immediately killing her. It was a storyline (Suddenly, before anything else was said, Sett jumped up once again.) Sett: YOU FUCKING LIAR! YOU LIAR! YOU KNEW EXACTLY WHAT YOU WERE DOING! NO ONE TOLD YOU TO DO ANYTHING! IT WAS YOU! Judge: ORDER! ORDER IN THE COURT! (After the court was calmed after his outburst, Jenn restarted the questioning.) Jenn Copelin: Mr. Starr, do you have remorse for your accidental death? (I told you, I had to lie.) Danny Starr: Of course I do. I was friends with Heather we practiced the move many times before the show. (I looked at Sett, and saw his eyes close in anger. His bottom lip curled up in rage, attempting to control his anger.) Danny Starr: May I speak freely? Judge: This isn't an army base proceed Danny Starr: I would like to public ally apologize for this horrible accident I want to express my great respect for Ryan, and his family; If I could go back in time I would. I would go back change it but I can't. I have remorse for this tragedy more remorse than you people can see. You think immediately I'm evil; you think I planned this, like I meant to hurt Heather. It's because you need people like me you need people to point your filthy fingers and say "That's the bad guy". So what's that make you? Good? I have done plenty in the past, but I have never intentionally hurt anyone (Just then, in an instant, Sett jumps up yet again, but this time has a gun pointed straight at my head. The jury gasps and moves away from Sett. The police officer he ripped the berretta from slowly moves back trying not to get shot. I don't move with fear of my death but I know that he will lose if I die. If I die, he will go to jail instead of me, who is dead already.) Sett: I'm sick of this! You rich piece of shit! You'll always get away with everything you do you know why? Because this law system is corrupt! He killed Heather on purpose, not a doubt in my mind! Yet he sits here and lies to all of your faces! (I see the rage in his eyes as he aims it straight for my forehead) Danny Starr: Ryan if you shoot me you will avenge Heather. However you will lose in the end. Sett: I don't care anymore! Heather was all I had left AND YOU ROBBED HER FROM ME! Danny Starr: Please don't shoot me! Please! (I dropped to my knees and begun crying at the fear of death. I was too absorbed with myself to die. I put my head down to the wooden stand, when I heard a loud clank ahead of me. I thought it was a gun shot at first, but realized by everyone's sigh of relief that Ryan had dropped the gun. I looked up to face Ryan who was being drug out by police officers.) Sett: I'm not going to let you win, Starr. I'm going to kill you with my bare hands you just wait! (The doors shut as Ryan continued to rant at me. I looked up to the judge who was frightened.) Danny Starr: You hear that threat? Judge: This is the second time you have been tried in court, and someone pulled a gun on you Danny Starr: I work with quite a lot of weirdoes Judge: Need a tissue? Danny Starr: Shut up! (The case was dismissed for another year so I was off the hook for a while. Now it was just me and Sett it was between us to end this war. And we'll do so soon enough.)
What a day I was having what a WEEK I was having. I had no idea where Sett was taken after his outburst I'm sure it made me look good in some light, however in other light it seemed reasonable. However, I am right. I know what I did can be justified it was necessary. I know it was necessary it was most certainly necessary. If not in good taste, it was undoubtedly sensational. I cannot deny that I was mournful at first but after deep thought and contemplation I'm positive what I did is in negotiable. If I could go back in time the outcome would remain the same. That's the least on my mind at this point for me and my lawyer are spending the night together celebrating a trial going well. When I say celebrating I mean so much more. Thou who questions my integrity for this
it's strictly lust. It's strictly wrath. It's strictly pride. This week
is going to be bad for you, Ryan. Along with Jason Mysterio and Breeze.
They plan on defeating me and my chum Evan Blane? The Real Deal? The
Sensation? Highly unlikely. In fact, it's far fetched to even pretend
it is possible. Jason Mysterio was never truly sensational
which
is why I allowed Kevin Conner to dismiss you. I will show you a lesson
in sensationalism this Survival
and let's just say, some of us
WILL survive
unlike Heather. We all have sins, HWA
